This site went down for several hours yesterday. All pages initially redirected to the Web space provider's landing page; after a while, they stopped redirecting completely and simply failed to load. Whatever the problem was appears to have now been rectified.

Over the last year and a bit, this site's counter has malfunctioned twice. The malfunction results in corrupted visitor and page counts. As of yet, I have experienced no success in locating the problem that caused the malfunctions, but have made it policy to regularly back up the counter's files such that they can be rolled back to earlier sane values in the event of a third malfunction.

I shall continue hunting for the source of this odd problem, and hope to have it resolved soon.

I have finally gotten around to putting the 神姫 Pages back online. There are still pages missing, as their content needs to be ported into this site's framework, but my collection page at least is accessible.

I've changed this site's logo box's border color so that it matches the borders of the other content boxes. Don't know how I missed changing the logo box border color over when I originally reworked this site's stylesheet, but whatever.

This site also has a new logo and a new background image. Yay progress.

I am sorry to report that, for a few days, this site has been redirecting to an attack site. Here is what I know.

The redirect was performed by the addition of unauthorized files into my Web space by an unknown person or system. These files were forcing users' Web browsers to redirect away from my website and to an attack website with the URL "http://palazziogt.ru/stat/".

The redirection has since been resolved. I have changed all of my passwords, and have restored this site from its most recent backup. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience or other problems this may have caused to people.

Whatever chimp did this to my site deserves death.

Apologies for the lack of site updates recently, but I've been spending Xmas off my face on alcohol. It was more fun than the alternative. Normal service will be resumed... uh... when I stop drinking. Don't hold your breath while you wait.

My massive ad-killing HOSTS file just became even more massive! It now blackholes almost half a million unique ad servers. Yes, you read that right.

I have manually gone through Google's cache of this site in order to fix up a few dead URLs that appeared during the rebuild. The most notable ommission was the Site Map page, which now exists again and provides a link to the redesigned Site Map. Booyah.

The loading speed of cached static pages is back to normal. The site's back-end code was unnecessarily reprocessing hyperlinks using expensive directory lookups.

My life, right now, is pretty much just this.
